Viral Infecton! UGH

Sorry I haven't posted in a while. We have a nasty spy ware virus on our computer (called the "trojan virus") and it has been impossible to remove. UGH!!! It really has been awful. I think we are going to have to take it to the computer doctor to remove it. Unless my Dad can conquer it, he is going to try today (we call him the computer whisper) . We will be keeping our fingers crossed in hope that Dad can fix the problem. Wish us luck. If things couldn't get any worse than having your computer sick, my kids have been sick with the flu virus. Aaron had it Monday, Emily Friday and Becca today (Sunday). It is hard to have my kids sick and home from school. I am going to school as well and when they are sick, I have to find someone to watch a sick child (this isnt very easy). Thank goodness for family. Well, we hope this holiday season is starting out less viral for you and your family. Tis the season for getting sick.

I have no idea what to title this post!? Any suggestions?

Just yesterday he was watching Sesame Street and today he is looking for night vision goggles in a Cabela's magazine. He is way too much like his dad!

Yo Hot Momma!

This is my cute mother!! She is Faaaabuloussssss. I just wanted to give her a shout out because of her new hair color! Her new highlights look great. Mom we love you.

HAIR CUT

It is that time again to get Aaron's hair cut. This is such a chore for me, I always hate doing it (mainly because I am not good at it and he is a little squiggle worm) . Thanks to our Grandma Sue for cutting it this time it is a big task because he is such a goof. I must say Grandma did an awesome job (it helps that she raised 5 boys)!

I don't know if the TV show is still Nick, but he saw this costume at "Once upon a child" store for $8 and he got ever dollar out of this costume (he wore it a dozen times before Halloween).


Becca is a 50's girl with a poodle skirt made by her WONDERFUL GRANDMA FENN!
Grandma is so great, she even made Becca's school class 32 cup cakes for her Halloween party. Halloween was a hit for Becca, all because of Grandma! We love you.

Emily is ready to take everyone's food order. She dressed as a 50's car hop waitress. A Junior's Diner Girl. Fake glasses and all......do you want some fries with that shake!

Mole Removal Ugh!

At the beginning of October, I had 2 moles removed. One from my neck and one from my chest. I had stitches for about a week and boy did they itch. Come to find out I was allergic to the stitches-ugh. I am glad that they are out now and healing. They checked the mole and it came back ok. YEAH!

Aaron off school

Last week Aaron had 3 days off of school, he was board out of his mind with his sisters gone to school. I took a picture of him wasting time watching TV with the seat he invented. He is such a creative kid, I have to try and keep him busy. I am glad he is back to school (he only goes 1/2 day early learners)

Serving in the church

Recently I have been released from the Young Women Auxiliary in our ward. I am sad to be leaving.As soon as I was told about being released, I had an overwhelming feeling of what my new calling in the ward would be. I told my husband I thought I would be put into the Primary as the chorister(when at the time there really wasn’t a need for a new chorister). Sure enough that is where I was put. I think the Lord knew that I needed to know early-on to prepare myself for the upcoming primary sacrament meeting program. I am so happy to be serving with my kids in primary. I have never been in primary, only Relief Society and YW (with the exception of a few weeks right after were married I was in nursery). The Primary program is this Sunday and I am really excited for it (maybe a little excited for it to be over -lol). I just love the primary children.

I also just got called into the stake as the “stake tutoring specialist”. I am really excited for this calling too! Basically I am a liaison between the stake and the 3 elementary schools here in the area. I’m in charge of signing up people in the wards to tutor or read to kindergartner's. It is called “reading buddies” . That is all I know about it for now but I am still learning. This year all the wards made quillows for each kindergartner at the 3 schools. The blanket was stuffed with a book, and was called their reading blanket! Our stake has done an absolutely amazing job with tutoring in the schools, I am just excited to be a part of it.

Brady is still the Scout Master in our ward. He goes camping once a month. He doesn’t seem to mind, and we have gotten use to his monthly outings (except for Aaron, every time Brady goes, he wants to go with his dad and the scouts). I just wish he had a truck to go along with his calling....someday. He enjoys working with the youth, I am just grateful he enjoys it.

October Break is here!

October break is here (I guess you could compare it to Spring break, only shorter)! On Wednesday, everyone got home early from school and we went to the moves (Sing it-“let’s go to the movies, let’s go see the stars” - Annie fans understand). I wanted to go see the new American Doll movie called “Kit Kittredge” and I assumed that the girls would as well. But I guess the “siren song” of talking chimps in space lured my children away from what I had hoped to see! Ugh, a cheesy monkey cartoon on a Wednesday afternoon really wasn’t my cup of tea (herbal of course)! But to keep up with the spirit of family fun time, I went along! We love the 2-dollar theater, because it’s cheap. We can get the whole family in for $10.00 bucks! On the other hand we hate the 2-dollar theater, because it is cheap- Its dirty, has bad lighting and sound, the floor is always sticky and I have never had the courage to look at what I am sitting on. Not to mention that over weight man sitting alone in the back of every kid movie I go to (CREEPY).

“Space Monkeys” wasn’t as bad as I thought. Brady laughed out loud a couple of times, but then again he thinks the movie “Dumb and Dumber” is comedic genius! To round out our afternoon outing, I thought It would be nice to capture the moment on camera after the show. We ended up getting more than a picture!

No mall visit is complete without seeing a ridiculous, strange “EMO” aka in my day as “GOTH” and aka in my sisters day “PUNK” . Now I am not at all even bothered by these teens who try and prove who they are in their style, as long as there body parts are covered! The picture tells it all: Look really close!

The Fenn Family!

Here is my family! We all got together and took a family picture the morning of Gary and Amber's wedding (8/8/08). It was so hot and muggy that morning, I'm surprised anyone is smiling. Thanks to Sanya's (she is the farthest girl on the right) mom Arleen, she took this picture and did a great job - she is wonderful. Isn't my family adorable?
